Executive & Editorial Boards, Spring 2018
Huneeya Siddiqui, Editor-in-Chief
Huneeya is a junior in the College, majoring in English and double-minoring in Arabic and Justice & Peace Studies. Although she is originally from Karachi, Pakistan she was born and raised in the Middle East (it’s a long story). She can often be found in line at Starbucks while stressing about being late to class or pretending to be productive on Lau 2 at all hours.
Christopher Stein, Treasurer & Website Director
Chris is a sophomore in the School of Foreign Service planning to study International Political Economy. From Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he is a self-proclaimed foodie. You can often see him in Washington DC trying to find palatable pizza. Chris is a politics and news junkie who enjoys reading and writing vastly more than economics homework. He studies Mandarin Chinese and hopes to study abroad in Hangzhou, Taipei, or Shanghai.
Emily Arnold, Campus Outreach Director
Emily is a sophomore in the College, majoring in English and minoring in Environmental Studies and Classics. She grew up on a farm in Harvard, Massachusetts and went to boarding school in Concord, MA, so she is a New England girl at heart. Nonetheless, she sings a capella in The Georgetown Gracenotes and also has a food blog and enjoys cooking, baking, and making kombucha from her Village A apartment.
Courtney Lee, Marketing & Layout Director
Courtney Lee is a sophomore in the College, majoring in English. She is also pre-med and won’t let you forget it. Truly a Jack of all trades, Courtney takes pride in her variety of passions: photography, volleyball, movie-quoting, and knitting. At this very moment, she is most likely taking her afternoon nap, eating microwave popcorn, or vigilantly driving the blue Toyota Sienna CSJ minivan.
Emily Greffenius, Secretary
Emily is a sophomore in the College majoring in English, hoping that, upon graduation, someone will appreciate her extensive knowledge of commas. When she’s not editing for The Anthem, Emily likes to pretend she’s funny on her radio show Soundtracked, which she co-hosts with colleague Courtney Lee. Otherwise, you can find her scouting the weekly farmer’s market for free samples and convincing herself that a $5 cup of cold brew is an acceptable way to spend her money.
